You never really expect someone like Chris Hemsworth to get starstruck – but even superheroes have their moments.

The Thor actor recently opened up about how nervous he felt working with Halle Berry, saying the idea of sharing scenes with her was a bit overwhelming at first.

At 41, Hemsworth admitted that acting beside someone he’s looked up to for years wasn’t easy.

In a recent interview with E! News, he said it was hard not to just sit there in awe while watching her perform.

“I’ve admired Halle’s work for years, and I was very intimidated to sit opposite her within the scene and try not just be in awe of what she was doing,” he said.

However, according to Chris, Halle quickly made him feel comfortable. He said it ended up being a great experience, and he was genuinely happy to work alongside the Oscar-winning Monster’s Ball star.

“Certain people bring out not just the best in you, but also a comfort level where it does feel like it’s a place to explore and to examine different ideas, try different things,” he told the outlet. “That was the experience. I loved every second of it.”

On the other hand, Halle, 58, shared that working with Chris was an absolute pleasure, adding that he carried himself with real class and treated everyone with kindness during filming.

“[He’s] a stand-up guy. I won’t go into it now but he stood up for me in a moment in our movie, and instantly I knew right then I’m gonna follow this guy, be a fan of this guy for the rest of his life be,” said Berry.

In Crime 101, a new thriller based on Don Winslow’s novella, Halle Berry takes on the role of a tired insurance broker who finds herself caught up in a high-stakes jewel heist.

Chris Hemsworth plays Davis, the mastermind thief behind the operation, while Mark Ruffalo steps in as the LAPD detective determined to catch him.

Last month, Hemsworth shared another moment that caught him off guard. While speaking with Stephen Colbert on The Late Show on March 26, he admitted feeling a little embarrassed after asking Billie Eilish for a selfie at the 2025 Oscars – a move he later wished he hadn’t made.

“I remember thinking, ‘Ah, don’t do it, don’t do it,’” Hemsworth recalled about the moment he decided to take a photo with the 23-year-old Lovely singer.

Still, Hemsworth said he and his wife, Elsa Pataky, went ahead with the selfie because he knew their kids would be thrilled to see them meet Billie Eilish.

“I was like, ‘No, my kids are going to love this.’ And then the moment I took it, I was like, ‘I went from work colleague to now like a fan,’” Hemsworth told Colbert, laughing at himself.

“We will never be friends, never be best friends,” he concluded.
