The Marvel star and his wife, Elsa Pataky, took a selfie with the singer at the 2024 Oscars.
The 41-year-old actor admitted that taking a selfie with the Lovely singer at the 2024 Oscars is a moment he still regrets.
While posing for the picture with his wife, Elsa Pataky, Hemsworth revealed that he second-guessed his decision the moment he reached for his phone.
“I got a photo with Billie Eilish at the Oscars, and I remember thinking, ‘Ah, don’t do it, don’t do it,’” he said during an interview with Stephen Colbert on The Late Show this Wednesday.

The Avengers actor told Colbert, 60, that he took the photo anyway, thinking his kids would enjoy it.
“I was like “No, my kids are going to love this” And then the moment I took it, I was like ‘I went from work colleague to now like a fan,’” he said.
“We will never be friends, never be best friends,” added Chris.
When Stephen asked the Thor star if he had ever worked on a project with the Chihiro singer, he said no but described them as industry colleagues who occasionally cross paths.
“No, you know, same industry kind of colleague. Bumping shoulders,” he said, laughing.
His answer amused Colbert, who joked that, in that case, he could also consider himself a colleague to other stars in the industry.

“Sure, Anthony Hopkins and I are work colleagues,” said Colbert.
Chris, Elsa, 48, and their three children – 12-year-old daughter India Rose and 10-year-old twin sons Sasha and Tristan have left Los Angeles to settle in Chris’ home country, Australia.
In a recent interview with News Corp, Elsa shared that they had nearly moved to her home country, Spain, to live in Madrid instead.
“Living in Madrid is complicated when you’ve already lived in the countryside, in the middle of nature, it’s hard,” she said.
She also finds Los Angeles too limiting.
“When you’re in Los Angeles, work suffocates you,” Pataky shared. “There, all the conversations, even the billboards you see on the street, have to do with the world of cinema and its industry. It can make you lose perspective.”
She added that Byron Bay offers an escape from the nonstop industry buzz surrounding Los Angeles. Hemsworth echoed this feeling in a 2020 interview with Modern Luxury.
“I love what I do as an actor, but when you are surrounded by it constantly, it becomes a bit suffocating,” he said back then. “It’s nice to have conversations with people and be a part of a community that doesn’t live and breathe that world.”
The Extraction star also mentioned that Byron Bay offers a more peaceful setting to raise his children.
“L.A. is a tough place to get around with kids. There’s not a whole lot of foot traffic. It was all about loading up the car and car seats,” he added. “Here, we just walk out the door and head to the beach down the street. It’s a much more simple life.”
According to Daily Mail, the couple finished building their massive mansion in 2021, and its value has significantly increased since they moved in.
