Eminem’s daughter Hailie Jade and her husband Evan McClintock have welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Elliot Marshall McClintock.
The proud mom, 29, took to social media on Friday to share adorable photos of her newborn, along with details of his birth.
Baby Elliot was born on March 14, 2024, and already shares a special connection with his famous grandfather, Eminem.
Hailie chose the middle name “Marshall” for her son, honoring her father’s first name.
“Happy due date//3 weeks earthside little e,” Hailie wrote in the Instagram post.
The pictures featured the newborn in a cozy blue knit sweater, lying next to a placard with his name and birthdate.
The world-famous rapper Marshall Bruce Mathers III, better known as Eminem, revealed Hailie’s pregnancy in October through his music video for “Temporary” (feat. Skylar Grey).
The emotional video included powerful moments, such as Eminem wiping away tears while walking Hailie down the aisle, followed by the heartfelt moment when she shared the news of her pregnancy.
At the end of the video, Hailie presented her father with a Detroit Lions jersey that had “Grandpa” on the back, alongside an ultrasound picture of her baby.
The 15-time Grammy winner was visibly taken aback as he processed the surprising news, doing a double take at the ultrasound image while his daughter laughed beside him.
In October, Hailie and Evan shared the exciting news that they were expecting a baby boy on her podcast, Just A Little Shady.
The couple, who got married in May after eight years of being together, made the announcement by popping a gold balloon during the episode. When Hailie popped the balloon, blue confetti fell, revealing the gender of their baby.
Hailie and Evan said their vows in Battle Creek, Michigan, in 2024.
TMZ reported that Hailie and Evan kept their wedding intimate, inviting only close friends and family to witness their vows in a “modestly sized” ceremony at Greencrest Manor.
For her special day, Hailie chose a stunning white wedding dress featuring a romantic tulle skirt and a sheer veil that complemented her elegant hairstyle.
The couple began dating in 2016 and engaged in February 2023. Hailie grew up in Detroit with her father, the world-famous rapper Eminem, and her mom, Kim Scott. She graduated from Chippewa Valley High School in 2014 and later attended Michigan State University.
Last year in August, Hailie opened up on her podcast, Just A Little Shady, admitting that her father’s songs Temporary and Somebody Save Me make her “cry every time” she hears them.
In Somebody Save Me, Eminem raps: “Sorry that I chose drugs and put ’em above you / Sorry that I didn’t love you enough to give ’em up.”
The lyrics reflect his regrets about not being there for key moments in Hailie’s life, like walking her down the aisle or witnessing the birth of her first child- things he feared missing due to his 2007 overdose.
Having battled prescription pill addiction in the past, the 52-year-old Mockingbird singer has now been sober for 16 years and remains very close to Hailie.
